All FAVORITE batteries have an internal BMS. The BMS regulates the current and voltage entering and exiting the battery. It prolongs the lifetime of the battery and ensures all the cells are drained at equal rates. It also protects the battery from transient events and monitors the temperature of the cells.
To prevent overheating, peak output will typically only occur from a standstill for a quick boost or when climbing hills. Nominal voltage can be achieved at any given speed. That's where variables such as rider weight, strength, weather conditions, and road conditions come into play.
