Why is pedal assist important?

As you ride every time your foot pushes on the pedal the pedal assist will engage the silent electric motor to do some of the work for you. Once you begin to familiarize with our electric bikes you will notice the electric motor supporting you through every second allowing you to traverse steeper hills and greater distances.

What does pedal assist do?

The pedal assist is one of the "secret" weapons that make riding an electric bike so fun. Pedal Assist (PAS) is a mode that provides power only when you pedal. If you're used to riding a traditional bike, the pedal-assist mode will rock your world with a more intuitive feel compared to the throttle mode. Most of our bikes will have 5 different levels of pedal assist with 1 being the lowest amount of assist and 5 the most assist from your bike's motor.
