Your FavoriteBikes Hybrid and Hybrid CSC e-bike comes equipped with a high-performance hydraulic front suspension fork designed to enhance comfort and control across a variety of terrains. Understanding how to adjust the fork will help you get the best riding experience, whether you’re cruising city streets or navigating bumpy trails.
🛠️ Fork Overview
There are two adjustment knobs on your hydraulic fork:
-
Lockout Adjustment Knob (Black)
-
Preload Adjustment Knob (Brown or Gray)
🔒 1. Locking or Unlocking the Fork (Right Side – Black Knob)
This adjustment allows you to lock the suspension for a rigid ride—ideal for flat roads or smooth pavement where suspension isn’t necessary.
-
While sitting in the riding position, look at the right-hand side of the fork.
-
Turn the black knob clockwise to lock the suspension (fork becomes rigid).
-
Turn the black knob counterclockwise to unlock the suspension (fork is active and absorbs shock).
Pro Tip: Locking the fork while riding on smooth surfaces improves pedaling efficiency and battery range.

🌀 2. Adjusting Fork Softness (Left Side – Brown Knob)
The second knob controls the spring preload, which determines how soft or firm your suspension feels.
-
Locate the brown plastic knob on the left side of the fork.
-
To make the fork softer (more absorbent on rough terrain), turn the knob counterclockwise.
-
To make the fork firmer (less travel, more support), turn the knob clockwise.
Pro Tip: Loosen the preload for bumpy or off-road paths. Tighten it for better control and responsiveness on hard surfaces.

🧰 Final Notes
-
Always make adjustments while stationary for safety.
-
Adjust both settings based on your riding style, terrain, and weight.
-
If you feel too much bounce or bottoming out, try locking the fork or tightening the preload.
