Riding comfort is important on every FavoriteBikes e-bike. If your handlebar feels too low, we can help you raise the riding position using the correct solution for your bike model.
Depending on your model and fit needs, FavoriteBikes can provide either a higher handlebar or a stem spacer kit to help raise the handlebar position.
Can I Raise the Handlebar on My FavoriteBike?
Yes. In many cases, the handlebar height can be improved by using stem spacers or by replacing the handlebar with a higher-rise option.
For new bikes, if the handlebar position feels too low after assembly, please contact FavoriteBikes Support. We can check your bike model and recommend the correct part.
Video Guide
Option 1: Stem Spacer Kit
A stem spacer kit raises the stem slightly by adding spacers in the headset/stem area. This is often the simplest solution when the bike has enough available steerer tube height.
This can help you:
- Sit in a more upright riding position
- Reduce pressure on your wrists, shoulders, and lower back
- Improve comfort during longer rides
Option 2: Higher Handlebar
If spacers are not the best fit for your bike or riding position, FavoriteBikes may provide a higher-rise handlebar instead. A higher handlebar can raise your grip position and make the bike feel more comfortable without using an adjustable stem.
Why We Usually Recommend Spacers or a Higher Handlebar Instead of an Adjustable Stem
Adjustable stems may seem convenient, but they can loosen over time, especially with vibration from regular riding. For better long-term safety and stability, we recommend fixed solutions such as the correct spacer setup or a higher handlebar.
