The tire on my new bike is flat. What should I do?

Receiving a new bike is always exciting, but it can be frustrating to find that the tire on your new FavoriteBike is flat right out of the box. If you're experiencing this issue, don't worry—it's something that can happen occasionally during shipping, and we are here to help.

Why is the Tire Flat?

In some cases, air is released from the tires during the shipping process. This is done intentionally to ensure safe transit, but sometimes, the empty tire can be compressed or pinched inside the packaging. When there’s no air in the tire, the inner tube can get damaged if the box is subjected to force or pressure. As a result, when you go to inflate the tire, the inner tube may already be compromised and could break upon inflation.

How to Resolve the Issue

While this situation can be frustrating, rest assured that FavoriteBikes will take care of it. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Contact Our Customer Service: Let us know about the flat tire by reaching out to our customer support team. We’ll promptly send you a new inner tube free of charge.

  2. Get It Fixed Locally: If you'd prefer, you can take your bike to a local bike shop to have the inner tube replaced. Just keep the receipt, and we’ll cover the cost for you.
