All FavoriteBikes ebikes have weight limits. Exceeding these limits could affect braking, tire wear, and safety.
Maximum payload = rider weight + cargo weight.

What Counts Toward the Weight Limit?
- Rider body weight (with clothing)
- Helmet and gear
- Backpack or bags
- Cargo on rear rack or basket
The bike itself and battery are NOT included in the weight limit.
Tips for Riders Near the Limit
- Check tire pressure regularly — keep tires at recommended PSI
- Allow extra braking distance — especially on wet surfaces
- Inspect brakes more often — pads wear faster with heavier loads
- Distribute cargo evenly on the rear rack
- Avoid jumps and drops if near the weight limit

What happens if I exceed the weight limit?
It may cause accelerated wear on tires, brakes, and suspension. In extreme cases, it could lead to structural failure and voids the frame warranty.
Which model for heavier riders?
If you are near or above 250 lbs, we recommend the StormX ST (330 lb capacity). The fat tires and reinforced frame provide a safer ride for larger riders.
Does the limit include the battery?
No. The weight limit is rider + cargo only.
