Unlock Higher Speed Limits for Private Property Use

At FavoriteBikes, your safety and riding enjoyment are our top priorities. While our bikes comply with regional speed regulations (such as the 32km/h limit in Canada or 20mph in the U.S.), we understand that some riders may want to unlock higher speed capabilities when riding on private property.

If you'd like to increase your bike’s speed limit up to 32 miles per hour (approx. 51 km/h), you can do so through the Advanced Settings using a special access code. Please read carefully and follow the instructions below.

⚠️ Important Notice

This feature is intended only for use on private property. Do not use increased speed settings on public roads or bike paths where local laws and regulations apply. FavoriteBikes is not responsible for misuse outside permitted areas.

Step-by-Step: How to Unlock Higher Speed Limit

1. Request the Advanced Passcode 

To access the advanced configuration menu:

Once verified, we will provide you with the service passcode.

2. Enter Advanced Settings Menu

After receiving your passcode, follow these steps on your bike’s display:

  1. Turn on your bike.

  2. Press and hold both the "+" and "–" buttons on your handlebar display for a few seconds until the settings menu appears.

  3. Scroll down to “Advanced Settings.”

  4. Enter the passcode we provided using the "+" and "–" buttons to adjust the digits, and the M button to confirm each number.

3. Adjust the Speed Limit

Once inside the Advanced Settings:

  1. Navigate to “Speed Limit”.

  2. Use the "+" or "–" button to increase the value.

  3. Set the speed limit up to 32 mph.

  4. Press the M button to confirm.

✅ Your bike is now configured for a higher top speed—use it responsibly and only in appropriate environments.
