What to Do If Your FavoriteBikes Lock Doesn’t Lock Properly

If your e-bike’s smart lock isn’t engaging after you manually lock it, don’t worry—there’s a simple reset procedure you can follow. This guide will walk you through the steps to reset the lock sensor and troubleshoot the issue.

Step 1: Perform a Lock Sensor Reset

  1. Press and hold the “M” and “+” buttons together on your button.

  2. The lock motor will run forward to perform a calibration.

  3. On the screen, you will see a countdown: 3…2…1.

  4. Once the countdown finishes, the calibration is complete.

  5. Please press and hold “M” and “+” again.

    • This time, you should see a green lock icon pop up on the screen—this indicates the sensor has been successfully reset.

Step 2: Test the Lock

Try locking the bike again. If the system works normally, your issue is resolved.

Optional Step 3: If It’s Still Not Locking…

If the lock still doesn’t engage after the reset:

  1. Manually press and hold the lock in the locked position.

  2. While holding it down, turn the bike on.

  3. Keep the lock held in place for a few seconds to allow the system to recognize the locked state.
