How to Change the Power Limit on Your Bike

Adjusting the power limit on your e-bike can allow you to experience more versatility in your riding, whether you're commuting or enjoying an off-road adventure. This guide will walk you through the entire process in simple steps.

Step 1: Obtain the Advanced Passcode

Before you can modify any advanced settings on your e-bike, you'll need a special code, often referred to as the "Advanced Passcode."

Locate Your Serial Number

The first thing you need to do is locate your bike's serial number. For detailed instructions on how to do this, refer to the article titled "How Can I Access the Advanced Settings?" and follow the steps provided.

Contact Customer Service

Once you have your serial number, reach out to customer service to request the advanced passcode. You can typically do this via email, phone, or through a support ticket on the company's website.

Verification Process

Be prepared to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the bike. This may involve answering some questions or providing additional information.

Receive the Passcode

After successfully completing the verification process, customer service will email you the advanced passcode that you'll need to enter to access the advanced settings of your bike.

Step 2: Access Advanced Settings to Modify Power Limit

Now that you have the advanced passcode, you can proceed to change the power limit of your bike.

Enter Advanced Settings

Navigate to the advanced settings menu on your e-bike’s display and input the advanced passcode you received from customer service.

Go to Riding Mode

Within the advanced settings, locate the section labeled 'Riding Mode'.

Modify Power Limits

Here, you will find options to modify the power limit for different riding modes, typically "Commuting" and "Off-Road." You can adjust these settings independently based on your riding needs.

For instance, you may want to set a lower power limit for your daily commuting to conserve battery life, and a higher limit for off-road adventures to maximize performance.
